The process of my work is guided by the failure of the perfect photographic picture and the exploration of visual reality. Partly biographical, partly as an observer from the outside I search for the codes and roles of (visual) intimacy. I refer to Jaques Lacan and Jorge Luis Borges, which both question the definition of reality and it’s construction.
Rethinking the photographic image production I focus on expanding the presentation of visual content, I search for new possibilities to display my work by extending the image from it’s conventional 2 dimensional surface to text, objects and smell.
Through the reconstruction of images I am facing absence, physical, emotional or visual. Seeing photography as a temporary fragment of a constructed reality I extract the image’s content from it’s eternal statement to create transformations with hybrid contexts of perception.
