I’m experimenting with the photograph as a tool for remembering elusive moments. As an origin I use mobile pictures that show rooms that are connected to personal stories. Pictures that show empty rooms captured in the moment after something happened. In a second layer I’m collecting movement scores of the human absent of those pictures through highlighting places where they have acted, emotionally or physically, with neoncoloured postits. In that way I enter the photograph as as an observer of my personal relation, that collects traces and leftovers, which would help me to recreate the story that happened in those photographs. Therefor an abstract composition of colour rectangles is created that is not based on an aesthetic composition but on the absent persons’ movement.
