THE FEAR THEORIES is an 11-year approach into the childhood and adolescence of my son, and his struggle with a screen-based identity and his insecurity in offline reality growing up in a constant progress of virtualisation.

Referring to my photographic archive I unravel pictures that became traces and proof of understanding post-internet anxiety and its relation to photographic self-representation.

The project therefore is playing with history, memory and imagination between staged, augmented and physical reality.
